What happens if your manuscript is subsequently rejected by a journal because of the poor quality of the English? It doesn’t happen very often, but it does happen – usually because you ‘corrected’ our mistakes or added more material after the manuscript was edited. This is why, if you have any doubts, we urge you to check with us before submitting the final version. We don’t mind. In fact, it makes us happy.

Nevertheless, if a manuscript we edited is rejected by a journal because of the quality of the English, we take it seriously. Either we will take another look at it for free, or give you your money back so that you can find another editor – whichever you prefer. Within reason: if you re-wrote it after it was edited, we will have to start all over again, at the full price.
