The Guide to Writing a Dissertation or thesis

In the course of his work, my partner supervises PhD and Master’s level students. Which of course, includes helping them to write their theses. After a few years, he found he was being asked the same questions, and seeing the same mistakes over and over again. So he put it all together and wrote a guide. It’s short and to the point, and it will take you about half an hour to read from cover to cover.

  • If you’re sitting looking at a blank piece of paper wondering what to do next, it will help you get started.
  • If you’re half way through, and it’s all going to hell, it will help you get back on track.
  • And if you think you’re finished, go through the checklists, and make sure you’ve covered all the points listed.
