Is it the 2000’s or the 2000s? The MP’s or the MPs?
A while ago, maybe in the 1980’s, it was the 2000’s and the MP’s. Now we’re in the 2000s and our MPs haven’t changed much.
Unless you’re using American English – in which case you’re still in the 2000’s and you read about MP’s in newspapers.
Don’t forget the possessive
